Look no further: we have a day’s hiking complete with a unique style lunch or a picnic and a tour of the village of Poul-Fetan.
Located in a hilly region on the banks of the Blavet River, Quistinic is the perfect setting for hikes and walks in the countryside. Follow the marked paths and trails through the woods and across the plains and enjoy the rich cultural heritage and varied landscapes.
Choice of three itineraries :
- The Bodery mill trail
(distance: 3km - Departure point: Poul-Fetan village car park)
Set off on the tracks of Mathurin the miller and see the different ways water was used, with an information booklet to fill in.
- The village centre trail
(distance: 9.5km - walking time: about 2.5 hours - Departure point: Quistinic church)
Follow the magnificent paths linking Quistinic to the village of Poul-Fetan. You’ll see many different places and some amazing ruins (the Bodery mill) and panoramas overlooking the Blavet valley.
- The Poul-Fetan trail
(distance: 12km - walking time: about 3.25 hours - Departure point: Poul-Fetan village car park)
Go to the ruins of the Bodery mill, pass several roadside crosses, then in front of the Locunolé chapel. This path will take you by some wonderful buildings showing you the Quistinic history and countryside.
An interesting lunch at the Ti Fanch :
Several types of meal depending on your appetite and your budget: table service in the Ti Fanch inn, open-air picnic in the countryside, or teatime snack.
Afternoon (unguided tour lasting 2-3 hours - price: €9.40 per adult)
Play an active role in village life and explore the land, the exhibitions and the various activities: butter making, pancakes, etc.
